About Roger Misso

Roger was raised in Red Creek, in Wayne County. He grew up skipping stones at Rudy’s, washing dishes at The Cottage Inn, and saving enough money for annual trips to the Carrier Dome to watch Syracuse basketball. He graduated from Red Creek High School and the United States Naval Academy before serving for more than a decade in the Navy, to include combat operations as a naval aviator.

From an early age, Roger realized the importance of public service. The values he learned in Red Creek – hard work, fairness, accountability – helped him earn an excellent public school education, serve honorably in uniform in positions of great responsibility far from home, and work across government to get things done.

We have a saying in uniform: "Service before self."

Cicero, Clay, & Salina were the places we wanted to be as kids.

Helping them win is a great way to engage with your neighbors. Our campaign can help you get active! #NY24
